Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Jochen Stoll ("we", "us"), operator of the Moonshot Network application, collects, uses, and protects your personal data. We are the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What this policy covers
The Moonshot Network app and this website (moonshot-skills.com). Third-party services we integrate with (Google, Microsoft, our hosting platform) have their own privacy policies.
3. Data we process
Account data
Your name and email address, used to create and secure your account.
Your network data
Information you choose to add about your contacts (names, email, phone, company, role, notes, birthdays), your logged interactions, follow-ups, and calendar events. You may enter personal data about third parties; you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so.
Usage & device data
Basic logs and usage information needed to operate and secure the service.
Calendar integration (optional, opt-in)
If you connect your Google or Microsoft calendar, we access your calendar events and the email addresses of event attendees and organizers. We use these only to: (a) add the events you create in Moonshot Network to your connected calendar; and (b) import from your calendar only those events that involve a person already saved in your contacts, matched by email address. Events that do not involve one of your contacts are not imported. We do not store the full attendee list of imported events — only the link to the matched contact and basic event details.
4. Google & Microsoft API data
Google scope used: calendar.events. Microsoft scope used: Calendars.ReadWrite.
We do not use Google or Microsoft data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized AI/ML models. It is used solely to provide the calendar-sync feature you enabled.
5. Why we process your data (legal bases)
- To provide the service — performance of our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Optional integrations (e.g. calendar sync, AI features) — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Security and improvement — our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
6. AI-assisted features
Some features use AI to generate suggestions (e.g. follow-up ideas, profile insights) from data you enter. This processing is performed by Base44 (our platform) and its AI sub-processors as our processor. Calendar sync itself does not use AI.
7. Processors & sharing
We share data only with service providers acting on our behalf under data-processing agreements:
- Base44 — application hosting and database.
- Google / Microsoft — only if you connect a calendar.
- Base44 (our platform) and its AI sub-processors — only for AI-assisted features.
We do not sell your personal data.
8. International transfers
Some processors are located outside the EU/EEA (e.g. the United States). Where that is the case, transfers are safeguarded by appropriate measures such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Disconnecting a calendar integration revokes our access and deletes the related sync data. Deleting your account erases your personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations.
10. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact info@moonshot-skills.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Germany, your competent Landesdatenschutzbehörde).
11. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and data minimization to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
12. Children
Moonshot Network is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
13. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
